Members of the Local Community of Hruševje, as well as other villagers, want to restore the water pond located on the edge of the village of Hruševje. It is an important heritage of the place, both naturally and culturally.

"Kal" is part of the cultural landscape, and as a habitat for plants and animals, it enhances biodiversity. We will also add educational content to "Kal", as it represents a rounded, complete ecosystem that beautifully illustrates biodiversity, plant and animal habitat, ecosystem material circulation, food chains and natural processes, and changes over the seasons.

The school in Hruševje will have a location for classroom in nature, where students will learn about species and natural processes and at the same time develop a responsible attitude towards life in "Kal". The childhood curiosity can also be the initial stage of research work. At the same time, the project will unite the villagers - as we plan to do some work on a voluntary basis.
