The main goal of the SMART INNO project is to develop a smart networking system for monitoring and fostering research & innovation capacity in the SMEs across the Adriatic region. The overall objective of the SMART INNO project is to develop a smart networking system for monitoring and fostering research & innovation capacity in SMEs. Due to this smart network the project aims at increasing competitiveness, and supporting the sustainable growth os SMEsthrough the use of financial instruments and coaching schemes on improving investment capability, with the emphasis on cross-border cooperation across the Adriatic.

In the Primorsko-notranjska region we have established the Centre for Innovation and Development, aimed at promoting and supporting the enhancement of innovative capacities in the region, regardless of sector, size or activities. We are currently engaged in the establishment of cooperation networks in the regional tool-making companies with the aim of developing a centre for professional training in tool-making industry, regionally or even nationally.
